How to undo in notes using the shake function

Many people may not know this, but the Notes app on your iPhone allows you to undo any action just by shaking your device. Here’s how you can do it.

Step 2: To undo an action, shake your iPhone in an up-down motion.

If you want to redo your changes, shake your iPhone again. In the menu that opens, tap on “Repeat input”. Your changes will be restored.

How to undo in notes using the undo menu

If you don’t want to use the shake to undo option, there’s a more conventional way to undo changes in your notes app. Just follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Once inside the Notes app, tap the Markup icon on the menu at the bottom.

Step 3: Tap the left arrow to undo mistakes. Tap the right arrow if you want to redo changes.
