How to set up Xfinity Flex
After activating your Xfinity Internet Service, setting up an Xfinity Flex is a fairly simple task. Power cord, HDMI cable, voice remote control and getting started book are all included in the device’s getting started kit.
To use the Xfinity Flex, you must first connect your TV to the Xfinity Flex via HDMI. After that, all you have to do is connect the Xfinity Flex and follow the on-screen instructions.
To use voice guidance, which speaks activation instructions to you, the device prompts you to select a language and then attempts to connect to your Wi-Fi network automatically. Xfinity Flex will prompt you to authenticate your account by entering the last four digits of any phone number in your Xfinity account once a Wi-Fi connection is established.
Aside from that, you can use the Xfinity Flex to customize the device by naming it, set up surround sound audio playback, and configure the voice remote to control your TV’s power and volume.
