Today, Vancouver Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin announced the club’s Human Performance Staff for the 2022-23 season, which includes three new hires.

The Canucks have Dr. Harry Sese as health and performance advisor, sports therapist Josh Termeer and performance therapist Dr. Added Erik Yuill.

Earlier this offseason, the Canucks fired director of medical services and senior athletic therapist Jon Sanderson, longtime director of strength and conditioning Roger Takahashi, and assistant athletic therapist — plus occasional goalie — Dave Zarn.

dr Sese – who is known on Instagram as @thegolfingdoc – has a background in – you guessed it – golf.

Josh Termeer was the Chief Sports Therapist for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League for over six years and before that was the club’s Assistant Sports Therapist for two years.

dr Yuill has been a team chiropractor for the Vancouver Whitecaps of Major League Soccer and the Vancouver Warriors of the National Lacrosse League, both affiliated with Aquilini, and has also worked with athletes from the NBA, NHL, CFL and MLB.

Yuill has also had great success as a national-level competitive swimmer himself. He was the head coach of the Queens University collegiate swim team before pursuing his career as a chiropractor and has also worked with the Simon Fraser University collegiate swim team as a team therapist.
