Doncaster Rovers 2-1 Sutton United

Two stoppage-time goals from George Miller and Kieran Agard ensured Doncaster completed a remarkable late about-face to defeat Sutton 2-1.

The visitors looked set for victory after Donovan Wilson’s first-half strike gave them an advantage which they easily defended.

But Miller headed in from a Tommy Rowe cross almost off the post in the second minute of added time to level.

And Agard completed the U-turn 90 seconds later. Miller headed a ball over the top from captain Adam Clayton and Agard shot through space to the winner.

The hosts had been struggling to attack Spark up to this point, scoring their best effort thanks to powerful punches from Rowe which Sutton goalkeeper Jack Rose dealt with with relative ease.

Wilson drilled into the top corner from 10 yards in the 16th minute after Louis John hit a post, sparking chaotic scenes in the Doncaster box.

Sutton’s physicality proved a problem for the home side, who long defended nervously.

Visiting skipper Craig Eastmond twice came close to extending his lead before half-time when he pounced on loose balls in the Rovers box.
