Dorking Wanderers 2-2 Chesterfield – BBC Sport

Chesterfield eluded Dorking by a point in a 2-2 draw after playing with midfielder Ollie Banks in goal for over an hour.

Wanderers, making their National League debut, fell behind after an 18th-minute goal from Akwasi Asante.

The Spireites were forced to send off goalkeeper Lucas Covolan 10 minutes later for an incident without the ball, but doubled their lead before half-time when Armando Dobra fired home.

Banks was first beaten in the 67th minute when James McShane had the honor of scoring Dorking’s first goal of the fifth division and Luke Moore equalized after 77 minutes.

Chesterfield finished the game with nine men after Branden Horton was sent off for a second yellow card in added time.
