9.Ray Lewis

NEW ORLEANS, LA – FEBRUARY 3: Ray Lewis #52 of the Baltimore Ravens celebrates after their 34-31 win over the San Francisco 49ers during Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on February 3, 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana. (Photo by Ezra Shaw/Getty Images)

Much like Singletary, Ray Lewis was known in the NFL for his hard-hitting tackles and lack of fear on the field, even though he was likely to do worse. He also stood trial for murder in 2000 but was found not guilty, although many believe he was more involved than he wanted to admit, so it’s no surprise that he was voted in the top 10.

8.Randy Johnson

American sports continue to dominate the list, followed by famed pitcher Randy Johnson. He was feared by thugs everywhere, recording a 102 mph pitch with not many going faster. He is famous for hitting a bird while throwing in really tragic scenes too.

7.Lawrence Taylor

On an ongoing topic, we have another NFL linebacker, with Lawrence Taylor, now making the top 10. He ended Joe Theismann’s career in 1985 when he badly broke his leg on release, so it’s no wonder he’s considered so scary.

6. Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal is one of the most famous basketball players of all time. While his on-court personality might not have been overly scary, the fact that he was 7ft 1in certainly instilled fear in his competitors.

5. Jack Lambert

The public vote is brutal, with Jack Lambert on the list. A hugely successful and famous defenseman in the NFL, Lambert is known to be scary about his looks, having lost his teeth as a child.

4. Kimbo disc

Unfortunately, Kimbo Slice is no longer with us, he died in 2016. However, the Bahamian American mma Fighter was known for his street fights and bare knuckle boxing, which showed how tough he was and why so many find him creepy.

3. Dennis Rodman

Basketball star Dennis Rodman makes the top three in the public vote, which isn’t surprising considering he’s trying to be creepy with his costume choices and makeup.

2. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar is the only one WWE Superstar in the top 10 but no surprise to see him here considering he was in the top 10 ufc. The sheer size of Lesnar and his brawn is enough to terrify almost anyone.

1. Mike Tyson

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – NOVEMBER 28: Mike Tyson exits the ring after receiving a split tie against Roy Jones Jr. during Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. Presented By Triller at Staples Center on November 28, 2020 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Joe Scarnici/Getty Images for Triller)

It’s no surprise that a boxer tops the list, with Mike Tyson being an obvious candidate. Fearless and destructive in the ring, Iron Mike terrified most brave enough to take on him. He famously bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear during a fight, so it’s no shock to see him as so scary.
