TV channel Champions League final: How to watch Liverpool vs. Real Madrid

The 2022 UEFA Champions League final is poised to be an epic encounter as Liverpool and Real Madrid go head-to-head in Paris.

Both clubs are no strangers to success in the competition and are chasing more titles to cap off successful seasons domestically.

Real Madrid easily clinched the La Liga title and although Liverpool missed out on Premier League glory, they won both the EFL and FA Cups.

These two sides faced each other in the 2018 Champions League final as Real Madrid triumphed 3-1.

Canada: Like all Champions League games in Canada, the final will be streamed live and on demand via DAZN.

Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore: For fans in these countries, beIN Sports is where all the action can be found.

India: Sony Sports will televise the Champions League final in India while SonyLIV will stream the game.

New Zealand: Kiwis can tune into the game via the Spark Sport streaming service.

UNITED KINGDOM: The Champions League final will be available to subscribers on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. It will also be shown free to air on Channel 532 for Virgin Media customers.

The BT Sport app will stream the Champions League final for subscribers. Additionally, a free live stream will be available on the BT Sport website and YouTube channel.

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA: The game will be available on TV via CBS (in English) and Univision and TUDN (Spanish), and all three channels can be streamed on fuboTV, which is available as a free trial for new users.

The match will also be streamed on Paramount+ for subscribers.

How many people watch the Champions League final?

Aside from the World Cup final, the UEFA Champions League final is consistently the most popular football game around the world each season.

In 2014, UEFA claimed that that year’s final had a projected global reach of 380 million viewers – making it twice as popular as the Super Bowl.

That number, too, has undoubtedly risen in recent years, although reports of the 2021 final appearing well above target with 700 million viewers.

In comparison, 3.572 billion viewers watched the 2018 World Cup in Russia at some point during the tournament, with 1.12 billion watching the final alone, according to FIFA.
