Kate Middleton and Prince William were among the royals who accompanied queen elizabeth on the balcony during Trooping the Color. However, Prince Harry and Megan Markle were trending Twitter ahead of the event, and one Cambridge fan wasn’t happy.
Kate Middleton Fan Wants Twitter to Change Algorithm Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Trend
The Queen opened the platinum anniversary celebrations on Thursday. The Prince of Wales, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with their three children – Prince George, 8, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, 4, were among those who appeared on the balcony and stood up with the 96-year-old monarch during Trooping the Color.
Hours before the event, however, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were trending on Twitter. An “angry” fan of the Duchess of Cambridge wasn’t happy about this and urged Twitter to stop the Duke and Duchess of Sussex from being trendy during the platinum anniversary celebration, Daily Star reported.

“I find it disgusting that Meghan and Harry are trending during the Queen’s Jubilee while William and Catherine, the future King and Queen, are not. Can you please fix your algorithm,” the netizen said asked Twitter support.
Prior to the said tweet, Middleton’s fan Karen Armes tweeted a snapshot of trending topics in the UK. The image showed that “Meghan” was trending with over 17,000 tweets.

Kate Middleton fan proud to support the Duchess of Cambridge
The Daily Star report calling Armes an “angry fan” of Kate Middleton reached the Cambridge supporter. She also saw the outlet’s tweet about the report and commented“I am and proud to be Catherine’s fan.”
She also cited the Daily Star’s report, which included a photo of Queen Elizabeth, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William and Middleton.
“I will always defend our future queen. I’m proud to be their raging fan. Karen x,” she said wrote.

Markle’s supporters fired back at Armes, with many sharing one of her tweets on August 13, 2021, the read, “Meghan is the n-word. People like her are too selfish to be queens.” One netizen even called her a “bad bitch.”
A woman of color shared the same tweet and said she thought it was Armes more decent than what she tweeted.
Armes shared the original tweet and cleared that she wasn’t racist with her post. “I have a black husband and three children with him,” she added.
Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to attend the National Thanksgiving Service at St Paul’s Cathedral today.
