Dimash’s song Okay lands in the top 10 of Billboard Chat

NUR-SULTAN. KAZINFORM – Dimash Qudaibergen’s new song Okay enters TOP 10 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart. The songs “Fly Away” and “Be With Me” also hold their positions in the charts, Kazinform quotes as saying.

According to the latest data, Dimash’s new single Okay ranked 8th on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart. One row higher is “Fly Away”, which has been in the TOP 10 of the charts for 22 weeks.

For the first time, Dimash’s song Fly Away made the new Billboard Hot Trending Songs chart in Fall 2021, as the artist’s fans actively discussed the premiere on Twitter, sharing photos, GIFs, and links to their favorite song. Hot Trending Songs is fundamentally different from other charts because it tracks what songs people are talking about, not just what they’re listening to.

The song “Fly Away” was later joined by the song “Be with me” by Dimash, which stayed in the charts for 24 weeks. In January 2022, Dimash’s songs shot to the top of the charts, occupying 1st and 3rd place on the weekly chart.

Forbes magazine has written about Dimash’s compositions more than once and featured photos of the artist as the title track in articles on chart results. Qudaibergen is now one of a very small number of acts to have managed to have more than one track in the top 10 on this weekly leaderboard, joining other globally revered names like BTS and Lisa from Blackpink.

The chart results are also reflected in the releases of the World Music Awards, the international awards ceremony for the best-selling and most popular artists from around the world, and the international website, magazine and podcast network American Songwriter, which published the results as Billboard Hot Trending Songs .

On May 15, 2022, the official World Music Awards account reported that “Fly Away” along with South Korean band member BTS Jin’s song “Yours” are the solo songs to hold the longest lead on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart.

Dimash thanked his fans for their support several times: “Dear, thank you so much for supporting “Fly Away” and “Be With Me” and for allowing them to stay in the top 10! Love you!” the artist tweeted.

“Dear ones, thank you for supporting Fly Away and Be With Me and keeping them in the top 10! Loving You!”
