The trailer of Aamir Khan’s highly anticipated film, Laal Singh Chaddha, was released on Sunday. The trailer, which has racked up over 22 million views in such a short time, has divided netizens.
Laal Singh Chaddha is the Hindi remake of the widely successful 1994 Hollywood film Forrest Gump. It stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya, and Negar Khan, among others. The film hits theaters on August 11, 2022.
Appreciating the film’s trailer, one Twitter user wrote: “#LaalSinghChaddhaTrailer was exactly what I expected from Forrest Gump’s remake, it had the OG vibe and also my favorite genre in cinema is back, the drama, Kareena gave me in the Trailer stole the show and knowing Aamir and the kind of artist he is will do it like a pro.β
