Prince Louis’ antics steal the show at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations

With her 70-year reign, Queen Elizabeth II is the longest reigning monarch in the United Kingdom. she Platinum Anniversary Celebration started with the Trooping the Color ceremonyin which the entire royal family attended on Thursday.

Amidst the pompous celebrations, it was young King Ludwig who stole the show at the lavish royal processions. All four generations of the Royal Family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to watch the crowd and watch the ceremonial parade organized by the British Infantry Regiments in honor of the Queen.

Also present on the balcony was four-year-old Prince Louis, dressed in a mini blue sailor suit worn by his father Prince William during the Trooping the Color ceremony in 1984. He expressed his awe, anger and boredom with unambiguous facial expressions, while other members of the royal family smiled politely for the cameras.

At one point during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Air Force drew a seven and a zero in the sky to celebrate the Queen’s 70th reign. As the military planes flew up, they made a loud noise. Prince Louis reacted with vivid fear and shock as he covered his ears with his hands.

The variety of expressions displayed by the young prince during the celebrations inspired many memes and jokes on social media.

A Twitter user shared a picture of a bored Prince Louis and wrote: “People say the royal family is out of touch but Prince Louis really understands how the nation feels about the #PlatinumJubilee.”
