Singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, better known as KK, died in Kolkata on May 31. He was in town for a concert. His sudden death sent shockwaves across the country and left numerous fans in mourning. Fans and followers paid their respects to Twitter.
KK has been a prominent singer in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Gujarati films. The fans lovingly remembered the singer and his legendary songs in their condolence tweets.

The singer collapsed after his concert in Kolkata and was taken to a private hospital in the city. He was taken “dead” to Kolkata’s CMRI hospital around 10pm, hospital authorities told India Today TV.
KK made his singing debut in 1999 with the album Pal.
